Back to normal.

hi y'all!
It's been a while, hasn't it?! Life has been nothing but pure chaos these last few weeks. I touched on it here, but from there it just got worse. We didn't get the approval we needed until the day before we ended up closing, which was just this past Friday. Meaning, we had a lease going and still had our mortgage and had no idea if the sale was actually going through. We were beyond stressed out, but it all worked out!

I got pretty emotional while we were moving out of our house and into the new one. While we knew going into it 2 and a half years ago that it wasn't our 'forever home', it was still the first home we purchased, it was the neighborhood where I threw up in my neighbors yards while I was pregnant (true story) and it was where we brought Abigail home from the hospital and raised her for the first almost two years of her life.

The new place doesn't feel like home yet, but we're working on it.
I hope now that we are more on the settled side and a little less stressed out I can really get back into the swing of things around here.

I'm currently without a computer and have a phone that is on it's last leg so blogging has been hard, but I'm in the process of buying new ones :) Anyone has a suggestion for a good quality, non-macbook laptop? I could use them!

Here are a few pictures of the new place & if anyone is interested in a house tour once everything is all done, let me know in the comments! :)

XO!

  2. Do a home tour for sure ;)

I am jealous of your strength! Haha we bought our house 6 years ago in April & it was not our forever home! We bought it when we were engaged, since we have gotten married, pregnant x2 & brought both of our babies home from the hospital! I keep changing my mind about moving because I'm not ready to walk away BUT we need the space!

    1. haha, Jessica.. I'm SO impulsive, I got the idea in my head to sell my house and a week later, it was on the market. I wasn't sad until we were actually moving out. We actually downsized so I am loving the smaller space! Less to clean! ;)
