Our Weekend

The best part of this weekend was when a package arrived for me containing these pretty little glasses! The nice people over at GlassesShop.com sent these cute cat eye reflecting sunglasses to me and I couldn't love them more. They were shipped perfectly in a nice case with a cleaning cloth and arrived in perfect condition. If any of you are looking to purchase a new pair of eyeglasses online, they have generously provided my readers a 50% off coupon on all frames, which includes free lenses, using the code: GSHOT50. They also offer a great variety of prescription sunglasses, which I'm excited to try next!

Abigail and the pup wanted to join in on the sunglass fun ;)

We spent the rest of the weekend relaxing and spending a good amount of time outside.
Friday was spent picking up the house, and I couldn't help snap a picture, since it's a rarity things are this tidy lately.
After we picked up Abigail from school, we took her to a special dinner for being a 'Star Student' for the entire week. If you follow me on snapchat (jlhuff13), you caught the whole dinner and how it ended up... spoiler alert: she clearly saved up all her crazy behavior for Friday after school. We ended up having to trade off eating and taking her outside and ended with her laying on a bench outside of the restaurant because she was just too tired to carry on with her dinner ;)
After putting Abigail to bed Friday night, Billy and I spent the night channeling our inner 90 year old's and put a puzzle together and played Yahtzee. It was just the kind of relaxing we needed.
We woke up Saturday morning to go have breakfast with some friends and then came home for a family nap. 3 hours later (!) we headed out to burn off some energy at a local open field to kick around some soccer balls and play with sticks, apparently.

We ended the night making a delicious dinner and turning in early (after another round of Yahtzee... It's seriously so fun!).

Sunday, we went to my nephew's 8th birthday party at our local rock climbing facility. While I didn't climb, I have several times before and it is always a blast!

Billy had to leave for work for the night halfway through the party and Abigail and I spent the rest of the night relaxing at my parents house until we came home around 7pm and called it an early night.

It was the perfect relaxing weekend to get a busy week started.

Hope you all had a great one!

XO.
